You left 9-5 because you wanted more freedom.  The ability to choose your work, your clients, your hours. To do brilliant work on your own terms and actually be paid properly for it.
But somewhere along the way it stopped feeling like that.

Maybe the clients aren't coming in consistently enough.

Maybe you're saying yes to things when your gut is screaming NO!

Maybe you're working more hours than you ever did in your old job and somehow still not making the money you need.

Maybe you've lost sight of why you started and the business that was supposed to give you a life is starting to feel like its own kind of trap.

This was supposed to feel different.

Working for yourself doesn't come with an instruction manual. And winging it only gets you so far before the gaps start to show.

Let me tell you what's possible because I'm living it and honestly it's a lot of fun.

When I first left 9-5, I was a fundraising consultant. And I was good at it. A stream of clients.  Making ok money.  But the novelty of working for myself stopped filling me with joy. It didn't feel that different to 9-5.  I didn't feel like my own boss.  I started getting the Sunday night scaries again, dreading the week ahead.

So I made a decision that felt really major at the time - I changed direction.  I knew I wanted something different but the inner dialogue was so loud.  "You can't do that!  You're an event fundraiser!  Who's going to listen to you? You're too old. This isn't how "work" works."  I knew I couldn't overcome this well trodden story on my own so I got support from those who had already gone where I wanted to go.  I stopped taking on all the work I was known for and started building something entirely new. I increased my prices, worked on my self belief, got super clear on who I was talking to and about what.

I created a course and a podcast. Then a group programme, workshops, retreats, trainings, events.

I've now supported over 100 charity sector freelancers, consultants and coaches to build businesses that make good money and feel even better.  And I still do the odd bit of event consultancy and freelancing and it's all working out.  A business that I created and love so much I have to remind myself it counts as a job because I wake up energised and it feels like a massive privilege to do.  I'm not watching the clock or dreading my inbox. I'm creating things, connecting with incredible people, having proper belly laughs on group calls and building something that feels meaningful AND fun - which, by the way, is allowed!

Work no longer feels like the opposite end of the seesaw to life. This is my purpose and I feel that every day.

I'm not telling you this to show off. I'm telling you because something different is available to you too. Not my path but your version of it.  That same feeling of being completely lit up by what you're creating. It exists. And it's a lot closer than you think.

The invitation

You've just been inside Mega Money March. And things started shifting this week — maybe a small thing, maybe something really juicy that's going to take a while to fully realise. You've had moments of recognition, moments of "oh god that's me," moments where something untangled that's been knotted for years.

And we barely scratched the surface!

The reason most charity sector freelancers stay stuck overworking and underearning isn't just about money — it's about everything that sits underneath it. The structure that isn't quite there yet. The self belief that questions what you're doing. The vision that doesn't feel relevant anymore. The boundaries that keep slipping.

Inside the Group Accelerator we work on all four. Together. Properly.

The four things you need to move from the "making do" mentality of charity 9-5 into reliable, sustainable income as a freelancer, consultant or coach — so you can choose the work you take on, create something brand new, stop saying yes to the wrong things, and take a whole month off knowing the next six months are sorted:

  1. The infrastructure that gives you the freedom to move, flex and grow confidently.

  2. The self belief and support that means you back yourself completely and (crucially) have people in your corner who do the same.

  3. The vision and desire to create and spot opportunities that genuinely light you up.

  4. The money confidence and boundaries so you hold your price, own the value of your work and never again say yes when your gut says no!

This is the work that changes everything. Not just your income but the way you interact with your whole business.

And maybe after this week you're thinking I want more of this. The shifts, the community, the a-has, the action taking, the feeling of being in a room full of people who just GET IT.  No judgement, no shame, no guilt.  Maybe you're thinking I want to run my whole business from this energy, not just for a week.

That's exactly what the Group Accelerator is.

Six months of doing this work — with the structure, the strategy, the community and the support to build a business that makes real money and genuinely lights you up. Not content you consume and then carry on exactly as before. A space you come out of different. More confident, more focused, more you.  And with a business that feels fun, flowy and financially secure.

If this week has felt expansive and you've already experienced results, you already know whether this is for you.

What I will say is that the investment goes up to £4,000 on 10th March.

Right now it's £3,000 — or £550 a month for 6 months — and that includes lifetime access to the Charity Freelancing Course completely free. (Which sells for £997 by the way. You get it free!)

So if you're in, now is the time.

What You Get Over 6 Months...
